What Participants Gain
Folks will walk away with nervous system regulation tools and applied burnout recovery practice to support them well beyond the program:
Why It Matters
Many women in sustainability have the expertise but lack a clear roadmap to turn it into a business. Women in Waste fills that gap by offering structure, community and a practical plan to build a circularity consulting practice rooted in impact, autonomy and purpose.
Meet Your Instructor: Danni Schaust
Danni Schaust (she/they) is a TRUE Advisor, RYT® 200 registered yoga teacher, and Trauma-Informed Mindfulness Facilitator who first came to yoga in 2013 while navigating chronic stress and burnout. What began as a personal healing practice has grown into a deep passion for community, embodied movement, and lifelong learning.
Danni believes her dharma—her purpose or mission in life—is to empower people both on and off the mat. Her offerings emphasize nervous system regulation techniques, cultivating present‑moment awareness, and interoception - consciously guiding people back to their breath and bodies. Danni completed her 200‑hour training at Myriad Yoga in Indianapolis in 2021 and has since taught hundreds of hours of group classes, private sessions, workshops, and special events.
Off the mat, Danni is busy consulting on sustainability challenges through her day job or spending precious time with her husband, Will, and their Labrador retriever, Stevie. She’s a musician, coffee lover, tarot practitioner, avid reader, meditator, journaler, and enthusiastic houseplant and gardening nerd. She runs a small business, Dharma with Danni, and loves traveling, hiking, and exploring whenever she can.
