About the Author

MaryEllen Etienne, creator of the *Women in Circularity* series, has over 20 years of experience advancing the circular economy. She currently works in the Market Transformation and Development team at the U.S. Green Building Council, advocating for sustainable, resilient practices. Her contributions to sustainability include launching groundbreaking initiatives such  the first U.S. trade association for reuse, 'ReuseConex,' and leading reuse and recycling programs in multiple sectors.
